The BMW Group is addressing the challenge of reducing CO2 and pollutant emissions in order to protect the climate and air quality. Our portfolio’s move towards lower-emission, more fuel-efficient vehicles is in line with the wishes of many of our customers. Since 2007, our BMW i project has been developing electric vehicles, and has resulted in completely new concepts for individual mobility.
The sustainability performance of the BMW Group has received positive ratings from renowned rating agencies. In 2016, the BMW Group again ranked high in several sustainability indices and received a number of awards.
