Bonn and the surrounding region offer a wide variety of accommodation, from five star hotels to bed-and-breakfast lodging and many homestay opportunities. For participants who haven’t yet booked accommodation, please note that the November COP23 sessions are expected to attract a large number of visitors, so that all participants are encouraged to make their arrangements as early as possible.

The region is well connected through public transportation, with trains, metros/ trams and buses running at short intervals.  From most places in the region, no more than one change of transport needs to be made to arrive at the conference centre.

Climate Action does not have a room block. If finding accommodation in Bonn is challenging, we recommend considering the below:

Staying at a cruise ship in Bonn

If you can’t find a hotel, why not stay at a hotel ship? The Marriot Hotel is organising for the Emerald Star and Emerald Destiny ships to be available for accommodation between the 4th – 18th November. Both are walking distance the Climate Action Domes/COP23 location.
